My grandfather, Leo J. O'Day started our company in 1935 during the midst of the depression. This era was hardly a time for anyone to open a new business. He wrote of this time as "the dark days...closed banks, dust storms, breadlines, and W.P.A." The business operated starting on day-one with his belief that "service" should be the foundation of a successful petroleum equipment business. My father Dan O'Day Sr., shared this belief and so do I.
