Position Summary:The Engineering Drafter/Designer role within O’Day Equipment is vital to the success of the organization. This position is responsible for developing the engineering drawings used by the company to sell and install fueling systems. We’re looking for someone detail oriented and process focused who can work in alignment with our Core Values and vision for the company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accountable for the completion of Sales & Construction drawings
- Develop plan views, elevations, 3D piping drawings and project takes offs
- Work with vendors for current product drawings for use in O’Day projects
- Preparing company and regulatory paperwork for construction projects
- Manage company engineering and drawing libraries
- Continuing to learn and educate on changing design software and industry standards
Education
- Drawing and Drafting experience required
- Flexibility and adaptable to changing direction
- Knowledge of SolidWorks software a plus
- Piping/Mechanical/Valves experience a plus
