Position: Construction Foreman
Location: Fargo and Minot, ND
Status: Full-time
Experience Level: Previous construction experience preferred
Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Construction Foreman for our Fargo, ND location. The Foreman is an expert on all PEI recommended practices, construction standards and is knowledgeable in the work of subcontractors who perform work for us (excavation, concrete and electrical). The Foreman will guide their team to install Petroleum equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements and manufacturer’s specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver a high quality installation and testing of petroleum equipment (tanks, piping and other equipment)
- Foster an atmosphere of effective communication with team, contractors, regulators and customers
- Execute Job Process, including planning, scheduling, safety and budgeting
- Work safely and in line with O’Day Equipment’s core values and safety program
- Operate various power tools and equipment
- Attend meetings with contractors and customers as required, including final walk-through with customer
- Ensure proper completion of regulatory forms, drawings, vendor registration forms, etc.
- Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements:
- Experience in Petroleum Equipment a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction related field experience preferred
- Strong judgment and decision making ability
- Must maintain valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel to job sites for overnight stays on frequent basis
